More on ozone and fire
Ozone is a rather aggressive gas. How does it attack other molecules and what is the impact on human health and organic materials? We will give a few examples on explaining the chemical reactions of ozone.

Concentrations of this gas are difficult to forecast, because it depends strongly on the local conditions at a certain time and the chemical composition of the air. In this unit we show why we find where in the atmosphere more or less ozone.
One source of nitrogen oxides and ozone, but certainly also of carbon dioxide are fires. An overview of fire events worldwide and what is going on in fires in terms of chemistry is given in the last text.
