Unit 2: Particles

The air we breath is not only composed of gases. It contains also aerosols, that are small liquid or solid particles suspended in it. Aerosols can have several origins, that are marine, anthropogenic, biogenic, volcanic, and mineral. They play an important role in the atmosphere, and they have an effect on human health.
