In this magazine Ozzy ozone and his friends tell us in a little film the story of the ozone hole and answer the questions: Why did the ozone hole develop? Why is it dangerous? What can we do about it? How can we protect ourselves? We will also see how scientists observe the ozone hole and have a look how it developed in 2005.

The ozone hole of the year 2005 is just closing again now (Nov 05). Therefore we present a special edition, this time for basic primary school. You can use this magazine, strongly related to material from the United Nations Environment Programme, for social science in basic / elementary schools as a good example of how humans are influencing the environment and what consequences it has in turn for us.
You will find links to further resources and background material in the link list.
