Exercise:

Why is aridity in urban cores mostly higher than in the suburbs?
Is it because the buildings in town prevent the wind and thereby lead to a higher humidity?
Do you believe this is correct?

Test it yourself.
Go to a place in the urban center with high buildings and high density.
Test there how strong the wind is.

Then go to a place with greens or sports ground and test the wind.
Where is it more windy?
And where is it more humid?

If it snows in winter during night all children are happy because they can start a snowball fight. They also can build snowmen or luge.

All this is very amusing for children, but they can only enjoy it, if there is enough snow.

What are your experiences you had with snow?

Are you happy if there is snow?

Name advantages and disadvantages of snowfall and snow cover in a city. Also think about traffic.
